Poland Is About To Blast-Off An Online Lottery

One of the leading state-owned gambling companies, Totalizator, is ready to spice things up by releasing their own online Lottery.

How? When?

According to some reliable sources, this gambling monopoly plans to make this move very soon. It’s just a matter of time. Earlier this month, the CEO of this corporation, Olgierd Cieslik stated that mobile application and website are going to be ready by either the end of this month or the beginning of December.

He also added: “This year is a breakthrough for us. These are projects that completely change the functioning of Totalizator Sportowy. We are moving from the popular ground-based network to the internet. It is the construction of a new e-commerce market.”

This digital platform is going to round off no only online slots, but also digital lottery sales, poker and table games. All of them will perform under the name iLotto.

A Powerful Developer As A Helper:

Totalizator is not alone in this story, on the contrary. Playtech, one of the leading names in the gaming industry gained the exclusive contract, back in March. Namely, all casino games will be powered precisely by them.

The last year has got to be one of the best ones for the Polish firm. They broke their own record due to having sales of over PLN5.6, which is approximately US$1.5B.

Generally speaking, this country has authorized a plethora of online sports betting operators, however, Totalizator Sportowy was granted the online casino monopoly two years ago under the amended gambling legislation.

New Names On The Blacklist:

Even though things seem perfectly fine in the life of this Polish operator, other ones are not as lucky as them.

The Ministry of Finance keeps on broadening the blacklist by continuously adding the names of the operators that “forgot” to stick to the rules. As of November 21, almost 4,500 domains are placed on the wall of shame.

The situation has changed in the meantime, because as of yesterday, there are more than 4,806 names on it.

Who Is On The List?

Since this list is being updated frequently, there are some names that can be often seen. PokerStars has been spotted according to the latest information, along with the Marathonbet mirror sites and Curacao-licensed domains.

The situation in July this year was more promising, because less than 2,400 domains were seen on the blacklist. Moreover, it seems like the Ministry was encouraged to make the difference by enforcing a stricter regime.

Comment: Honestly, I’ve never heard of them, but they seem like a company with a great potential. I would love to test iLotto!
